ppbPIERCE ENGINEERS /b supports the construction community by providing innovative, yet practical structural engineering solutions developed collaboratively for a diverse client base. /p pThe Structural Designer performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering skills. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. /p pUsing prescribed methods, a Structural Designer performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. A Structural Designer applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes. /p h3Essential Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liStructural calculations as directed /li liPlan layout and detail development as directed /li liDevelop working knowledge of analysis and plan production software (AutoCAD/Revit)
