ph3Job Requirements /h3 h3The opportunity /h3 pAre you an experienced maintenance leader ready for a role where your decisions directly influence reliability, safety and operational performance? /p pAt LANXESS in Latina, you will take ownership of the maintenance function for our Lubricant Additives production site. This is a visible leadership role for someone who enjoys working close to operations, leading people and improving the long-term performance of industrial assets. /p pYou will lead an established multidisciplinary maintenance team, coordinate external contractors and work closely with Production, Engineering and HSE. The role is hands‑on enough to stay connected to the plant, and strategic enough to shape maintenance priorities, reliability improvements and future site development. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liLead the maintenance function for the Latina production site, ensuring safe, reliable and cost‑effective operation of plant assets. /li liDevelop and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies. /li liDrive Mechanical Integrity, reliability improvement and equipment availability initiatives. /li liLead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team of electricians, mechanical and utilities technicians, and maintenance coordination professionals. /li liManage external contractors and specialist service providers when required. /li liWork closely with Production, Engineering, Automation and HSE to improve plant performance and support optimization projects. /li liManage the maintenance budget, SAP processes, spare parts strategy and critical inventory. /li liEnsure compliance with LANXESS standards, legal requirements and Seveso regulations.
/li /ul h3Work Experience /h3 h3What you bring /h3 ul liBachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical discipline. /li liSeveral years of maintenance leadership experience in chemical, petrochemical, oil gas, specialty chemicals, lubricant additives or another continuous process manufacturing environment. /li liExperience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams and coordinating contractors. /li liStrong understanding of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, Mechanical Integrity and asset management. /li liExperience managing maintenance budgets, KPIs and maintenance planning through SAP or another CMMS. /li liStrong leadership, communication, coaching and decision‑making skills. /li liProfessional working proficiency in Italian, native or C2 level, and English, at least B2 level. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience working on a Seveso or Major Hazard industrial site. /li liExperience with asset lifecycle management and reliability improvement programmes. /li liKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or TPM. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 h3What we offer /h3 ul liPermanent employment with LANXESS Italia under CCNL Chimico. /li liQuadro classification,
