Together, we reach 400 million households and serve over 1,000 top retailers and brands across 27 markets, including Europe, Canada, the USA, Latin America, and Australia. /p pReady to bspark /b your growth with us? /p h3WHO WE LOOK FOR /h3 pWe are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Manager, Global Accounting to lead key accounting operations and help ensure the integrity of financial reporting across our global organization. This role is responsible for overseeing month-end close activities, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting audit and compliance activities. /p pAs a key member of the Global Accounting team, you will play an important role in strengthening accounting processes, developing a high-performing team, and partnering across functions to support our continued growth. You will also contribute to our ongoing post-merger integration efforts by supporting the onboarding of newly acquired entities, harmonizing accounting processes, and helping build scalable ways of working across a diverse, multinational organization. /p pSuccess in this role requires strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to bring structure to evolving processes. You’ll thrive if you enjoy collaborating across time zones, navigating ambiguity, and driving continuous improvement in a remote-first, fast-paced environment. /p pbAs part of our global hiring process, we kindly ask that resumes/CVs be submitted in English, as it’s our primary business language across teams and regions. /b /p h3WHAT YOU WILL DO /h3 h3Financial Reporting Month-End Close /h3 ul liLead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting; /li liCoordinate and supervise the Accounting team, overseeing the regular accounting activities across the Balance Sheet and Profit Loss, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with group accounting policies; /li liReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation; /li liEnsure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company accounting policies. /li liSupport preparation and review of consolidated financial reporting packages across multiple entities and jurisdictions; /li liOversee statutory and local GAAP reporting requirements across jurisdictions, ensuring timely preparation of local financial statements and compliance with local regulatory obligations. /li liAnalyze financial results and investigate variances to ensure completeness and accuracy. /li /ul h3Accounting Operations /h3 ul liOversee the maintenance and integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts; /li liSet up and maintain new accounts, cost centers, and accounting structures within the ERP system; /li liEnsure accurate accounting of financial transactions related to internal and external financing, including loans, credit facilities, and related interest accruals; /li liEnsure transactions are recorded accurately and consistently across entities and departments; /li liCoordinate fixed assets accounting, including the maintenance of the asset register, depreciation runs, capitalizations,



and disposals across entities; /li liOversee intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliation of intercompany balances, resolution of discrepancies between entities, and timely preparation of intercompany schedules in support of group consolidation; /li liIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and controls. /li /ul h3Team Leadership Support /h3 ul liSupervise, mentor, and support members of the accounting team. /li liReview work completed by team members and provide coaching and guidance to ensure quality and accuracy. /li liHelp build a collaborative, high-performing accounting function focused on continuous improvement. /li liFoster an inclusive and respectful team environment that values diverse perspectives and experiences. /li liSupport workload planning and coordination across the team during close cycles and audits. /li /ul h3Audit Compliance /h3 ul liCoordinate and support internal and external audit activities. /li liPrepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor requests. /li liAssist with implementation and monitoring of internal controls and compliance requirements. /li liSupport regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements as needed. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liPartner with Global Finance Operations, Consolidation, FPA, Treasury, Tax, and operations teams to support accurate reporting and business initiatives. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a culturally diverse and multinational business environment. /li liSupport communication and coordination across teams operating in different regions and time zones. /li liCollaborate with system administrators and process owners on ERP enhancements and process improvements. /li liSupport special projects, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU WILL NEED /h3 ul li5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience. /li li1–2+ years of people leadership experience, including supervising, coaching, and developing accounting team members. /li liCPA (or equivalent international accounting designation) is preferred. /li liStrong knowledge of IFRS and experience applying accounting guidance in a complex, multi-entity environment. /li liExperience leading month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation processes across multiple legal entities. /li liExperience supporting a global organization, including collaborating across regions, cultures, and time zones in a remote or distributed environment. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment when navigating ambiguity or unfamiliar accounting matters. /li liExperience improving accounting processes, strengthening controls, and implementing scalable solutions. /li liExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; experience supporting ERP implementations or system enhancements is an asset /li /ul pAt our company, we value diversity and actively encourage it — we believe a variety of perspectives and backgrounds makes us stronger.
