OOCL (ITALY) SRL is a Shipping Agency part of the OOCL Group based in Hong Kong, one of most important global carrier worldwide specialized in containerized maritime transportation between Far East, Europe, United States and Australia.

We are looking for an

Account Receivable and Administration Officer

Contract term: Regular, work location: Genoa.

and responsibilities:

The officer should

- keep relationship with customers relevant parties;
- be a first proactive front contact in any customers request related to collection issues;
- be a key teammate in achieving Account Receivable (AR) targets assigned and in improving overdue customers amounts;
- identify potential critical matters to the attention of AR Senior Officer in a timely manner;
- carry out regular month-end, quarterly, interim, year-end closing tasks timely;
- record and review AR data and accounting accruals on a monthly basis;
- meet AR deadlines assigned Ad-hoc tasks by Head Quarter;
- check and review AR flows in respect of Revenue Agency Interchange System (SDI) and other applications used for Italian eInvoicing, also ensuring the correctness of the VAT applied.

And be:
- occasionally responsible for drafting some accounting parts of the corporate reporting package;




- assistant in timely performing some Company administrative tasks (Human Resources, Safe and Security and Stock management of Company).

The officer reports to Senior Officer for Account Receivable and directly to Financial Control Human Resources & Administration Manager for administration portion.

Knowledge required:

- graduates in finance, accounting, economics or relevant disciplines;
- at least 2 - 3 years of experience in similar position in multinational companies;
- good spoken and written English;
- hands on experience in SAP, preferable S4/HANA version;
- knowledge in Italian Standards Accounts. IAS/IFRS is a plus.
