We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day. /p h3About the role: /h3 pAs the bAPX Principal, Project Sourcing Procurement /b, you will manage the successful procurement of equipment. This equipment supports a manufacturing location. Additionally, you will support several AP1000 New Plant Projects within the APX Supply Chain's Procurement Management portfolio. This includes potential guidance of procurement personnel. It also includes oversight of procurement activities during the pre-purchase order (PO), PO placement and PO administration and execution. Additionally, it involves support of our Project Management personnel during the PO execution phase. You will negotiate pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements with suppliers. Process and approve purchase orders within limits of authority. /p pYou will report to the APX Manager, Project Sourcing Procurement and be located at the Westinghouse Italy facility. We do require you to be in the office on a hybrid basis, which will require 2 days a week. /p pbKey Responsibilities: /b /p ul liNegotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers. /li liYou will lead decision-making, strategy implementation for procurement of components and equipment. /li liLead regular supplier relationship management reviews with necessary and strategic suppliers, engaging teams and senior leadership. /li liDevelop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply.



Identify standard engineering, quality and administrative issues, assisting with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements. /li liIdentify and obtain cost improvements of purchased materials and services. /li liObtain training and acquire additional knowledge to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and enhance personal growth. /li liYou will coordinate, maintain and expedite material deliveries to ensure you maintain manufacturing schedules. /li liInterface between project teams including project management and engineering and the supply chain organization /li liMaintain a comprehensive commodity strategy to improve Total Cost of Ownership, while ensuring supply continuity through identification and mitigation of current and emerging risks and opportunities /li liPrepare and deliver materials for leadership and supplier reviews, risk mitigation plans, assessments, and gap analysis /li /ul pbQualifications: /b /p ul liBachelor's degree and Supply Chain Experience. /li li10+ years of relevant experience in project procurement experience (preferably within industries with complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects, with a focus on procurement). At least 5 years in a leadership role. /li liIn-depth manufacturing, financial,



and economic skills and understanding of APX Supply Chain Products /li liAbility to travel up to 15% within EMEA /li liFluent in Italian and C1 proficiency in English /li /ul pWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
