A fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading Luxury 5 Star Hotel groups in the world at their flagship property in Venice as a Bar Manager - the role is from February to October with a salary of up to 3500 Euro gross, plus substantial gratuities, holiday entitlement, pro-rated 13 and 14th-month salaries, end of service benefits, welfare scheme payments, accommodation in the staff housing is a possibility You must be extremely customer-focused and have experience with very high-profile/celebrity guests
- Previous working experience within a luxury destination bar as Head Barman /Head Barlady or preferably as Bar Manager
- International work experience is desirable
- Extensive knowledge of quality spirits and wines
- Excellent understanding of both classic and modern cocktails, their recipes and history
- Exceptional people-management skills to successfully manage and motivate the bar team
- Positive, cooperative, adaptable and with effective communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and work well with deadlines
- Strong computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and verbal, other languages a plus
- Must have the right to work in the EU already
