With $6.9 billion in sales, a strong customer base and global reach spanning nearly 70 countries, we are uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and create new opportunities for our people. /p h3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3 ul liTo manage the development of new RD products in the data center cooling sector for high profile and well-known global datacenter customers. /li liDeliver a fast and customer focused response on NPDI projects, where a new solution is based on an existing and well proven platform. /li liWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market leading innovation. /li liTo lead the design of new products or re-engineer existing ones, collaborating with, Marketing, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the customer’s needs. /li liTo approve and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). /li liTo meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. /li liTo analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility. /li liAvailability to travel on request between the Italian HQ (base) and other divisions (mainly North America and China).

/li liA good level of experience in the HVAC sector with particularly good knowledge of Thermodynamics and refrigeration. /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 ul liA minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering is required; /li liPrevious working experience on similar projects, ideally in the HVAC/chiller sector is preferred; /li liGood knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles are essential; /li liEnglish – Intermediate level – written and spoken; /li liA high level of motivation combined with leadership abilities is required; /li liKnowledge of technical norms and standards; /li liCompetences: result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible. /li /ul pThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p h3OUR CORE PRINCIPALS /h3 pSafety.
