Join a fast-growing global team and enjoy competitive compensation and benefits. /p pWe are looking for an experienced bConstruction HSE Specialist /b to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across our utility-scale renewable energy projects. /p pAs Construction HSE Specialist you will support the construction and commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, initially across Italy and later throughout our international portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HSE professional who is passionate about creating safe working environments and driving a strong safety culture in a fast-growing renewable energy business. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation, company policies, and industry best practices. /li liMonitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure they meet technical, professional, and HSE requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
/li liConduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety assessments to identify risks and verify compliance with HSE standards. /li liReview and assess site-specific risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation. /li liSupport the Site Safety Coordinator and collaborate with project teams to ensure safe execution of construction activities. /li liIdentify, document, and follow up on non-conformities, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively. /li liParticipate in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, carrying out root cause analyses and promoting lessons learned. /li liCoordinate site emergency preparedness activities and verify emergency response procedures. /li liCollect, analyze, and report HSE performance data and KPIs to support continuous improvement initiatives. /li liPromote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks, site engagement, awareness campaigns, and close collaboration with operational teams. /li liSupport the development and continuous improvement of HSE procedures, standards, and management systems. /li liWork closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, engineering teams, and external partners to maintain the highest safety standards across all projects. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Safety Engineering,
Environmental Engineering, or another relevant engineering or technical discipline. /li liAt least 5 years of HSE experience within construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector (Solar PV, BESS, or Wind). /li liStrong experience conducting site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and contractor HSE evaluations. /li liSolid knowledge of Italian HSE legislation, including D.Lgs. 81/2008 and D.Lgs. 152/2006. /li liFamiliarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems. /li liExperience reviewing contractor documentation, safety plans, and technical-professional suitability requirements. /li liASPP/RSPP and/or CSP/CSE qualifications are highly desirable. /li liExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster a positive safety culture. /li liFluent in Italian and good command of English. /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 pJoin a fast-growing renewable energy company developing utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects across Europe.
