The role ensures that products, processes, and services meet customer expectations and internal quality standards while supporting production excellence in a process manufacturing environment. /p pActing as a key interface between customers, Operations, Sales, Product Development, and Quality teams, the Quality Engineer drives customer satisfaction, claim management, process optimization, and quality performance improvement, ensuring alignment with company objectives and HSE requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Customer Technical Support /h3 ul liProvide technical assistance to customers in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring an optimal fit between the company’s value proposition and customer technical requirements. /li liManage relationships with customers’ technical, quality, RD, and product development organizations. /li liSupport customers during product qualification, development projects, troubleshooting activities, and process optimization initiatives. /li liAnalyze customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. /li /ul h3Quality Management /h3 ul liLead quality assurance activities within the plant, ensuring compliance with quality standards, procedures, and customer specifications. /li liManage customer claims, root cause analysis, corrective actions,
and follow-up improvement plans. /li liMonitor and analyze quality KPIs, identifying trends and proposing improvement initiatives. /li liSupport audits (customer, certification, and internal audits) and ensure effective implementation of action plans. /li liCollaborate closely with production and quality teams to improve process capability, product consistency, and overall plant performance. /li /ul h3Process and Production Quality /h3 ul liDrive continuous improvement initiatives through structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, SPC). /li liSupport production teams in identifying process deviations and implementing corrective actions to reduce waste, variability, and customer complaints. /li liParticipate in process optimization projects aimed at improving quality, efficiency, and sustainability performance. /li liEnsure best practices and lessons learned are shared across departments and sites. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liCooperate with Product Development, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure proper management of projects, processes, and product developments. /li liSupport implementation of new products, process changes, and quality improvement projects. /li liContribute to portfolio management and performance optimization initiatives. /li /ul h3Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability /h3 ul liEnsure all activities are performed in compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. /li liActively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety, environmental, and quality performance.
/li liIdentify and report any HSE or quality anomalies to the responsible functions and management. /li liPromote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Paper/Textile Technology, or equivalent scientific discipline. /li li5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Technical Customer Support, Process Quality, or Production Quality within a process manufacturing industry (chemical, paper, textile, nonwovens, plastics, filtration, specialty materials, or similar). /li liProven experience managing customer quality issues, technical support activities, and continuous improvement projects. /li liStrong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA, 8D, RCA). /li liExperience working in cross-functional and international environments. /li /ul h3Skills and Competencies /h3 ul liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liExcellent project management capabilities. /li liCustomer-oriented mindset with strong technical credibility. /li liEffective communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liAbility to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels. /li liExcellent organizational and prioritization skills. /li liResults-driven approach with a continuous improvement mindset. /li liAbility to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFrench knowledge is a strong advantage. /li /ul h3Travel Requirements /h3 ul liAvailability to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 20-30%) to support customers, suppliers, and company sites. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liExperience in specialty materials, filtration, paper, nonwovens, textile, chemical, or similar process industries. /li liExposure to international customers and multinational organizations. /li liExperience with customer development projects and industrialization activities. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
