Key tasks and responsibilities
- Check that all the details that are filled in the shipping instructions by the customer are correct and according to the company’s policy, local rules and regulations.
- Insert data to the system according to the shipping instructions that are received from customers.
- Check if the B/L is freighted and in case not, inform the booking department.
- Assist to promote usage of e-commerce.
- Send to the customer a draft B/L to verify that all the details are correct.
- Prepare and attach to the B/L all the certificates that are requested by customers, according to the company’s policy and rules.
- Print and pass the original B/L and all the invoices to the Cashier.
- In case of short shipped container, change the data in B/L and send a notice to the customer.
- Send manifest to the next port of discharge according to the company’s rules.




- Handle and perform manifest correctors according to the company policy.
- In case of trades to USA, prepare and send AMS 24h before the vessel arrived. After sending the AMS, handle with all DNL messages.
- Verify that all the invoices are printed.
- Support Italian customers for all cross trade activities. **Requirements**:
Professional and personal skills
- High level of customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of documetation rules and clauses
- Basic experience and knowledge in shipping
- Ability to work under pressure
- High level of human relations with colleagues
- Ability to work in a team and to be a part of it
- Languages: English (Scale 1 - 7)*: 5
