We are looking for **Welding Inspectors**for a new pipeline project in Senegal (onshore and offshore) Key Responsibilities: - Inspect welding procedures, techniques, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Conduct visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality control measures to assess the integrity and quality of welds.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all inspection activities.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformances, and work with the welding team to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project engineers, construction managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the pipeline construction project.
- Provide technical guidance and training to welding personnel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health,
safety, and environmental regulations. Required Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a welding inspector, specifically in oil and gas construction projects.
- Proficient in both French and English languages, both written and verbal.
- For offshore position, a valid BOSIET certificate is required.
- Thorough knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection techniques (e.g., AWS, ASME, API).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
