**Contract Manager - Kenya Itare Dam Project** **Company Profile**
C.m.c. di Ravenna, a leading global infrastructure company, is seeking a Contract Manager for the Itare Dam Project in Kenya. **Project Background**
The Itare Dam is a key project identified by the Kenyan Government to address critical water issues in the region. The project is part of the "Mattei Italy-Africa Plan" promoted by the Italian Government. The dam will have a capacity to yield 100,000 m3/day. The executing agency is Rift Valley Water Services Board (RVWSB). **Project Scope**
The works under this project include the following: - 57 m high Asphalt Concrete Core Rockfill Dam, with 63 m high free standing concrete tower, 300 m length concrete spillway and 300m length diversion culvert
- Raw Water pipeline from Dam to Water Treatment Plant (DN 1200, 1.3 km long)
- Water Treatment Plant (105,000 m³/day conventional plant with flocculators, sedimentation
- basins, rapid gravity sand filters)
- Electrical and mechanical works
- Treated Water pipeline from WTP to Nakuru (DN 1200 to DN 800, 100 km long)
- Bulk Transfer Tunnel (14.5 km and 4.4m diameter). Tunnel section by TBM method and by drill& blast method
- Bulk Reservoir Storages (5,000 m³ at Tulwet);
- Reservoir Storage Nakuru (2 x 5,000 m³, 1 x 2,500 m³, 1 x 3,500 m³);
- Bulk Distribution Pipelines (DN 800-250, 35 km);
- Approx. 100,000 m3 of reinforced concrete;
- Approx. 1,000,000 m3 of rockfill to be used for dam;




Community Water Supply Schemes **Job Requirements**
- Proven contract management experience in at least two large-scale projects
- Experience in projects involving dams, tunnels, aqueducts, and water treatment plants
- FIDIC contract experience
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to relocate to Kenya and reside on-site
- Strong team player **Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous work experience in Kenya or English-speaking African countries
- Native English speaker
- Experience in Local and International Arbitrations
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent **Equal Opportunity**
