The IT Systems Expert works within the Contract Logistics Function. She/He will operate for our new automated warehouse located in Dese (VE). ** Your Role**: Working as part of the Information System Team, the Contract Logistics IT Systems Expert will strictly collaborate with the Control room for ensuring the proper operation of the warehouse information systems. She/He will act for the maintenance of WMS documentation, will lead and train local workforce about the proper use of the systems and will run continuous improvement and maintenance activities related to local information systems. ** Your Responsibilities**: - As first point of contact for local information systems, be responsible for gathering and analysing functional logistics requirements from external and internal customers
- Supervise and monitor the proper functioning of information systems and run constant maintenance activities to local Information Systems landscape, focusing mainly around Blue Yonder WMS
- Create and update documentation of implemented and configured processes and systems, as Blue Yonder, moreover track change logs for all changes
- Considering internal and external customer needs, design and implement integrations between customer ERPs and other satellite systems in order to satisfy business needs and guarantee an efficient goods workflow
- Will be responsible for maintenance of local hardware related to Contract Logistics (e.g. Label Printers, RF Scanners, etc.)
- Develop, implement,
and deliver trainings to key users in order to support information systems learning and enable internal stakeholders to be independent with the usage of the tool; to boost the efficacy of the training activities, develop them considering the average user learning curve
- Conduct continuous improvement activities related to local WMSs and other information systems tools in order to maximize the informatic tools efficacy, fix actual and prevent potential issues, and consequently facilitate/accelerate goods workflow
- Provide Functional Requirements Specifications to developers related to new features required by WMS **Your Skills and Experiences**: - 2 - 3 years’ experience in a 3PL company, dedicated to WMS implementations
- Proven track record of successful completion of projects related to information systems commissioning, software integration, calibration or troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge and understanding of information systems as ERPs and WMSs applied in operational environments as warehouses or production factories
