What you’ll do:
- Join the team of Regional Finance and in particular in the Tax Department reporting directly into the Tax Director.- Have the opportunity to be involved in all tax matters related to Italian entities in an international environment As Tax Manager you’ll be responsible for:
- Tax Compliance - ensure that all mandatory local tax filings are completed accurately and on time. This includes corporate income taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, Digital Service Tax, as well as the regular monitoring and updating of the tax consolidation unity status;- Tax Accounting - oversee the calculation of local tax accruals and deferred tax asset and liability positions. Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting in financial statements;-
- Tax Audits & Claims - provide oversight and specific support in response to requests from tax authorities, including tax audits, and, if necessary, court proceedings;- Supporting business initiatives by providing tax implications of various decisions;- Supporting the Tax Director on specific key projects;- Participating in Working Groups - actively participate in working groups on various tax topics;- Updating on tax regulations, monitoring new regulations that may impact the company or group.- Tax Internal Controls - Implementation and optimization of the Tax Control Framework in compliance with SOX regulations and Group policies, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency through processes of monitoring, tax risk management, and continuous improvement of tax governance practices.



What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the tax department of a Big Four or comparable law firm and/or in the industry sector with a strong focus on corporate tax matters.- A degree in Business Administration, Tax Law or related field, with a preference for additional qualifications as Chartered Accountant;- Excellent verbal communication skills and self-confidence to explain tax concepts to internal and external stakeholders at all levels;- Ability to work in a global environment and with virtual teams;- Strong analytical skills, financial analysis, data management and excel modelling;- Ability to handle simultaneous projects and work under pressure in case of need/deadlines;- Flexibility, pragmatism, and a user-oriented approach to problem-solving;- Fluency in Italian and English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
