- This position is open to all qualified individuals regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religious belief, disability or any other characteristic protected by law._ Purpose of the Job: guarantee full availability, functionality and performance of plants, assets and process, to support operations in compliance with legal requirements and Company standards while meeting market requirements. Assure and manage well-trained and motivated staff. Support the Plant Manager to contain costs, identify priority investments, and ensure plant efficiency.
Main Accountabilities.- Manage reactive, preventive and predictive maintenance proposing a yearly budget in line with the operation one. Guarantee the yearly maintenance cost in line with the budget agreed.- Guarantee the completion of works in the needed safe condition, on time and within budget. Define appropriate KPIs to monitor and improve maintenance performance.- Assure full compliance in safety work condition, provide second level authorisations as senior authorised person and also in relation to the role of safety manager according to Italian legislation.- Ensure sufficient staff to carry out maintenance operations, identify staff training needs, organise appropriate staff training, and fix individual targets in order to assure the presence of adequate staff and improve staff skills, performance and motivation. Propose to Plant manager rewards based on performance for all own reports.- Support SHE/Plant/Site manager for compulsory authorisations by public entities in compliance with applicable Italian and European law provisions and Company procedures, in order to ensure safe and efficient assets and production. Assure full compliance with engineering standards and requirements asked from SHEMS system,
Company best practices and generally all legal requirements.- Propose short and medium term investments necessary for plant improvements according to budget in relation to plant/process changes needed to sustain the continuity of the business and potentially to reduce operation cost. Co-work with project manager to prepare documents needed to ask Capex.- Manage contractors in term of activities and cost to support internal maintenance team according to the work loads and operation needs. Co-operate with SHE department in relation to work risk assessment and legal documentation required (Duvri). Support the procurement department in relation to contractors management and release work orders and spare parts purchase.- Manage and periodically review the spare parts warehouse, making focus on the critical ones to guarantee full reliability of the process and plants. Manage maintenance activities into SAP system to assure full traceability of cost and stock inventory and to assure compliance with preventive maintenance plan.- Optimise plant production capacity by a continuous improvement process, addressing the team to achieve the best performance in terms of time and costs consumption, in order to increase productivity, quality, environmental and safety performance, decrease costs, and obtain a competitive advantage over competitors.- Update work and technical documentation, manuals and SOPs, managed into document control system.- Assure full traceability and safety assessment of all plant/process changes, managing all these changes into the dedicate MoC System.- Support SHE team in monitoring PTWs and high hazard activities to guarantee full safety work condition and to identify gaps to be improved. Co-work in process safety assessments, risk assessment, Hazop and PHA, taking part of the assessment team.
