By embracing diversity, we believe science can achieve its fullest potential. **THE ROLE** You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal. The Functional Neuroimaging Research Unit, under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Gozzi, is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join its neuroscience team in Rovereto, Italy. Research at the Gozzi lab aims to understand how the brain operates as a network in health and disease. We approach this challenge by integrating whole-brain functional imaging (fMRI, MEG), electrophysiology, behavioral assays,
and neuro-computational approaches. The position will focus on the processing, analysis, and interpretation of functional imaging data acquired across different imaging modalities. Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be: - Contributing to projects that leverage large-scale imaging datasets in autistic individuals and neurotypical controls;
- Data preprocessing, statistical modeling, visualization, and the development of reproducible analysis pipelines. **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Phd degree in Neuroscience, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines;
- Prior experience in digital signal processing and analysis;
- Knowledge of scientific coding (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or R);
- Ability to organize, process and report scientific data clearly and reproducibly;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team;
- Good command in spoken and written English;
- Prior publication of at least two first-author papers in peer reviewed journals. **ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience with neuroimaging software suites and statistical modeling is a plus;
- Familiarity with version control and reproducible workflows (e.g., Git);
- Motivation to pursue a career in academic or translational neuroscience;
- Strong problem-solving attitude and scientific curiosity;
- Organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment;
- Possess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset. **COMPENSATION PACKAGE**
- A yearly gross salary ranging between 30k and 32k;
