WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 1300-1900
Sunday: 1100-1700
Wednesday and Saturday: OFF Is in charge of storage activities for:
a. either Hardlines or Softlines merchandise in a medium sized retail store generating $60,000 to $90,000 adjusted AMSV. or b. an assigned number of merchandise departments in a large retail store generating $100,000 to $300,000 adjusted AMSV. or the backup stock of a large retail store generating $250,000 adjusted AMSV. May supervise lower level employees.

- Performs a majority of the following duties:
1. Receives merchandise; checks quantity against supporting documents and verifies correct receipt; checks for damages; reports discrepancies to supervisor. 2. Participates in unloading of merchandise from trucks and transporting to stockroom. Segregates received merchandise by category; identifies merchandise which is not properly marked, stacks merchandise on shelves, in bins, or palletizes. re-warehouses and rotates stock to ensure "first in first out" procedures. Ensures compliance with prescribed storage methods, practices, and procedures. 3.



Picks merchandise from stock for issue to requesting sales departments of the store. As directed, transfers merchandise to other stores, or returns merchandise. 4. Participates in on-the-spot and physical inventories; clarifies stock discrepancies and initiates corrective action. Maintains stock accountability. 5. As instructed, changes prices on merchandise. 6. May be required to prepare requisitions and other documents supporting stock transactions. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
