About the opportunity
We are supporting a fast-growing international technology company operating at the intersection of SaaS, logistics and global trade with the appointment of an Account Manager based in Milan.
This is a commercially focused account-management role with ownership of an established portfolio of B2B customers using a digital logistics platform. The objective is to retain and grow those relationships by increasing product adoption, identifying new use cases and converting opportunities into measurable revenue growth.
This is not a pure new-business sales role and it is not a traditional freight-forwarding account-management position. The emphasis is on strategic account growth, commercial discovery, renewals, upselling and cross-selling in a technology-led environment.
What you will do
- Own and develop a focused portfolio of B2B customers.
- Deliver measurable portfolio growth through renewals, retention, upselling and cross-selling.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and develop multiple contacts within each account.




- Understand how clients operate, including their use of competing platforms, internal tools and external providers.
- Identify new business needs and translate them into commercially viable solutions.
- Lead client onboarding, account planning and quarterly business reviews.
- Monitor account health, product adoption, revenue performance, payment status and client risk.
- Work closely with Operations, Product and Sales to resolve issues and expand the client relationship.
- Manage operational and technical escalations while protecting retention and identifying commercial opportunities.
- Maintain accurate account, opportunity and pipeline information in Salesforce or a comparable CRM.

What we are looking for
- At least three years' experience in B2B SaaS, logistics technology, digital platforms or technology-led account management/customer success.
