Position summary This senior, lab-focused role performs security assessments of electronic devices and embedded platforms (including products with IT connectivity). The job is centered on finding and validating hardware and firmware weaknesses and translating technical evidence into clear, risk-informed conclusions. Side-Channel Analysis (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI) are the core skills for this position and will be used frequently, alongside other device-level attack and evaluation techniques. Main responsibilities Carry out hands-on security testing with a strong emphasis on Side-Channel Analysis (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI) , from setup through execution and validation.



Build and execute hardware security test plans that align with internal processes, stakeholder expectations, and applicable requirements. Inspect device designs and implementations to identify exposure points, including architecture, components, interfaces, firmware, and supporting technical documentation. Assess debug and service interfaces, evaluate attack surfaces, and perform cryptographic implementation checks where relevant. Evaluate the realism and impact of attack paths, and determine whether existing hardware and firmware controls effectively reduce risk. Analyze and interpret lab artifacts such as measurements, signal traces, captures, logs, datasets, and other technical evidence produced during testing.
