Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead the technical strategy, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of complex energy storage developments. The Role: - Evaluate, compare, and understand different BESS technologies and suppliers, ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with BESS suppliers, review technical warranties, and ensure compliance with supplier agreements and quality standards.
- Work closely with the procurement manager to select suitable BESS products, negotiate terms, and ensure alignment between technical requirements and purchasing decisions.
- Support the transition of projects from development to construction and operation. The Person: - Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the energy sector, with 2-3 years in BESS, storage technology, or a technical advisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of different BESS technologies, suppliers, and integration processes.
- Experience managing warranties, specifications, and procurement for energy projects.
