Salary:

Introduction
Our client is a fast-growing crop protection company that has chosen to invest in Europe while many competitors have scaled back. To support continued expansion and an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, the company is creating a Senior Country Regulatory Manager position to take end?to?end ownership of regulatory activities across Italy, Greece, and Malta.
This role is ideal for a seasoned country or regional regulatory professional who wants a visible position, genuine influence over market access and portfolio performance, and a clear pathway to broader European responsibility.
Why this Company?
The company has made a deliberate strategic choice to put Europe at the centre of its regulatory investment, dedicating a very high proportion of its global regulatory budget to this region and growing the European regulatory team from a small core group to a significantly larger function. For you, this means stepping into an organisation where regulatory affairs is not a back?office necessity but a central pillar of the growth strategy, giving your work direct impact on which products reach the market, how quickly they are launched, and how robustly they are defended.
Within this environment you will join a regulatory organisation that combines the structure of an established international business with the pace and visibility of a mid?sized, agile company. The team has strong in?house registration and dossier management capabilities, and you will work closely with experienced colleagues across central regulatory, technical and commercial functions. Practically, this gives you a role where decisions are made quickly, your input is actively sought on portfolio and lifecycle decisions, and you can see the results of your work in how the Southern European business performs.
The position itself offers a rare degree of country?level autonomy across multiple markets. You will shape how regulatory strategy is translated into local plans for Italy, Greece and Malta, representing your countries with senior regional stakeholders and national authorities. Over time, there is clear potential to grow your remit as the organisation continues to expand its portfolio and team in Europe, making this an attractive move if you are looking for the next step beyond a single?country role or a highly segmented corporate structure.

Support the planning, placement and follow?up of regulatory studies (e.g. efficacy, residues and related trials)
Contribute to the continuous improvement of regulatory processes, tools and ways of working within the wider regulatory team

Degree in Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Toxicology or a closely related scientific discipline
Approximately 5-10 years' experience in regulatory affairs within the crop protection / agrochemical sector
