/p h3bMacGregor – Let's shape the future together /b /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced bSenior Service Engineer /b with expertise in bmechanical, hydraulic, electrical or automation systems /b.
You will work on and around hatch covers, ramps, winches, cranes, gangways, passerelles, tender garages, and steering gear systems – primarily on Mega Yachts and other marine vessels – out in the field at shipyards, at client sites, and onboard vessels worldwide.
/p pAs a bSenior Service Engineer /b, you will play a bleadership role /b in maintaining and enhancing the reputation and professional image of the company through your interactions with shipyards, vessel crews, owners, and customers worldwide.
From MegaYacht retrofits to compex commissioning projects at shipyards, you will be the person who makes it happen.
/p h3bMore tasks and responsibilities /b /h3 pPerform advanced troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities on electrical,
automation, hydraulic, and mechanical systems across the Mega Yacht product portfolio.
/p pLead and coordinate service technicians, subcontractors and project personnel on site.
/p pProvide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members.
/p pAct as the primary customer contact on site, conducting daily coordination meetings with customers, shipyard personnel, and vessel representatives.
/p pIdentify technical risks, delay, and resource constraints and elevate them appropriately to the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
/p pPrepare accurate service reports, inspection reports, and completion documentation, including technical findings and lessons learned.
/p pFollow all site safety rules, agreed working practices, and environmental requirements.
/p h3bWhat you'll need to succeed /b /h3 pApprenticeship, technical diploma, or degree in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, marine engineering or related field.
/p pSeveral years of experience as a Service Engineer, with a proven track record of leading teams on site.
/p pStrong knowledge of electrical, automation, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Mega Yacht experience is a strong advantage.
/p pAbility to make decisions and solve complex problems under pressure.
/p pStrong customer-facing and communication skills – professional and confident at all levels.
/p pGood digital skills, including report writing and basic data entry.
/p pGood command of English (minimum B2 level).
/p pA valid driving license.
/p pWillingness to travel worldwide, including overnight and multi-week assignments.
