Operating at the intersection of MA, business transformation, turnaround and performance improvement, the practice supports clients across the bentire deal lifecycle /b, from pre-deal assessment and due diligence through post-deal integration, synergy realization and value creation implementation.
/p pIn response to the rapid increase of client demand and the high-profile engagements pipeline, the firm is making a significant strategic investment in further developing the practice.
As part of this strategic expansion, bseveral Senior Consultants and Managers will join the team /b, reinforcing the firm's long-term commitment to strengthening its capabilities across bstrategic planning, business transformation, operational improvement, revenue growth and post-deal value creation.
/b /p h3Position – The role /h3 pThe role focuses on supporting clients in assessing performance, identifying improvement opportunities and executing initiatives aimed at benhancing growth, operational efficiency and overall value creation.
/b /p pDepending on project requirements and individual expertise, assignments may involve: /p ul libRevenue Growth initiatives /b, supporting the identification and implementation of value creation levers aimed at improving top-line performance through pricing optimization; product and portfolio positioning, go-to-market effectiveness, customer segmentation and commercial strategy enhancement.
/li liAlternatively, projects may focus on bOperations Improvement /b, including operational efficiency and procurement optimization initiatives such as spend analysis, supplier performance assessment, sourcing strategies, vendor consolidation and cost reduction programmes.
/li liIn addition, the role offers exposure bto a broad range of other strategic and transaction-related situations /b, including Business Strategic Planning, Business and Operational Due Diligence, Financial Performance Monitoring, Synergy Assessment, Integration Separation programmes and broader business transformation initiatives.
/li /ul pThese projects involve supporting clients in translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable results across both pre-deal and post-deal environments.
The role combines strategic assessment, value creation design and execution support, offering the opportunity to work alongside clients throughout the full transformation and transaction lifecycle.
/p h3Position – Specific responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport shareholders, management teams, lenders and investors in evaluating strategic, operational and financial performance across business planning, due diligence and value creation engagements, identifying opportunities in both pre-deal and post-deal situations.
/li liStructure complex analyses, develop business cases and translate quantitative and qualitative insights into pragmatic recommendations and actionable implementation roadmaps.
/li liContribute to the design, execution and monitoring of value creation, synergy realization and integration initiatives, helping clients deliver measurable operational, commercial and financial improvements.
/li liManage project activities and workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
/li liMonitor financial, operational and commercial performance, tracking KPIs, business plan targets and value creation initiatives to support performance management and corrective actions where required.
/li liPrepare executive-level presentations, reports and recommendations for senior management, shareholders, lenders and investors.
/li liBuild trusted relationships with client teams, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders throughout the transformation and transaction lifecycle.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines.
/li libApproximately 4–8 years of professional experience /b gained within strategy consulting, transaction advisory, value creation, corporate strategy, business development,
operational excellence or performance improvement environments.
/li liExperience working on bbusiness transformation, strategic planning, operational improvement and/or commercial performance enhancement initiatives /b in the context of MA transactions, value creation and corporate performance improvement.
/li libStrong analytical and quantitative capabilities /b, with the ability to interpret financial, operational and commercial data and KPIs, develop fact-based recommendations and translate insights into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.
/li liKnowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik) is considered a plus.
/li liStrong problem?solving capabilities, with the ability to structure complex issues, challenge assumptions and develop pragmatic, data?driven recommendations.
/li liStrong team player with a collaborative mindset, resilience and a results?oriented approach.
Ability to operate effectively in fast?paced and demanding environments, taking ownership of project activities and workstreams while working closely with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
/li liEffective communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, able to interact confidently with senior executives, shareholders, lenders, investors and management teams across a variety of industries and business contexts.
/li liFluency in Italian and English.
/li liLocation: Milan, with flexibility to be based in other major Italian cities.
/li /ul h3Job /h3 pThis is a permanent full?time job, in a highly dynamic context.
/p pStandard employment contract under the collective labor agreement for the commerce sector, with a gross annual salary ranging from /p ul li€38,000 to €51,000 for the Sr Consultant position /li liand from €52,000 to €84,000 for the Management Group position.
/li /ul pThe salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including the candidate's skills and experience assessed against the requirements of the role.
