/p pThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing wiring harnesses and specifying electrical components for mobile agricultural machinery.
Primary focus will be on Gold Harvest combines NA, however, other global support on similar products may occur.
Key types of tasks will be related to the circuit definition and routing of harnessing on harvesting equipment.
This type of design is primarily related to a *****-volt system.
/p pThis will require the ability to understand, read, and create wiring diagrams.
In addition, this will also include the need to specify electrical components such as relays, fuses, speed sensors, and pressure transducers.
As harnessing routing is a key component of the overall design process, with CAD modeling tools, either 3D or 2D is required.
/p h3Your Impact /h3 ul liCircuit Design of harnessing including schematics /li li3D and/or 2D CAD for routing of harnesses within a virtual model /li liVendor support for the procurement of engineering related samples, including technical specification for new devices /li liManufacturing support of issues related to the various product lines, as it relates to engineering design issues /li liDesign reviews and routine project updates.
/li /ul h3Your Experience And Qualifications /h3 ul liAbility to specify electrical components for mobile machinery, such as relays, fuses, speed sensors, and pressure transducers /li liExperience with electrical circuit layout tools is preferred /li liProficient in written and oral communication in English /li liTeam is located across 3 sites located in NA, SA, and EME.
Availability to travel for about 20% of working time.
/li liExperience with CAD modelling tools,
such as Creo or similar, is required /li liCapable of working effectively with cross functional engineering teams, product service, manufacturing, purchasing, and other internal groups Product support and training /li liProvide prompt support to the technical service department as needed /li liContribute to informative, relevant product training for internal technical service staff, service training, and other engineering teams including field test Teamwork /li liAbility to function effectively as a member of a small, high-output, global team.
/li liAbility and willingness to innovate given limited direction and contribute beyond your direct area of responsibility /li liSolid decision-making skills, and the ability to make decisions with limited direction /li liA desire to participate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of freedom for innovation /li liElectrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred, minimum 4-year degree.
