We are looking for aPostdoctoral Researcherto join the Neurophysics group at theCenter for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC), University of Trento, Rovereto (Italy).
Responsibilities
The researcher will take a leading role in theTransFlyproject, which investigates howseasonal adaptationreshapessensory processingandbehaviourin the invasive fruit flyDrosophila suzukii.
The project combinesfunctional calcium imaging,behavioural experiments,transgenic Drosophila models, andcomputational data analysisin a highly interdisciplinary research environment.
Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a background inneuroscience, neurobiology, biotechnology, biophysics,or related disciplines.
Experience in the following areas is particularly desirable:
Advanced fluorescence microscopy
Functional calcium imaging
Drosophila genetics
Behavioural neuroscience
Quantitative data analysis and scientific programming
