PstrongSYSTEM ENGINEER – ABOUT THE ROLE /strong /ppbr / /ppAt Officina Stellare, we design and develop advanced optical payloads and systems for Space, Scientific Research, Defense and Aerospace applications. /ppWe are looking for a System Engineer to lead the development of complex spaceborne optical systems throughout their full lifecycle, from mission analysis and system definition to integration, verification and operational validation. /ppThe ideal candidate combines strong systems engineering expertise with a solid understanding of space payload development, being able to manage technical complexity, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure that mission requirements are effectively translated into system performance. /ppbr / /ppstrongWHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO /strong /ppbr / /pulliTranslate mission and customer requirements into technical system and payload performance specifications; br / /liliLead requirements engineering activities, including definition, allocation, traceability, verification and validation; br / /liliCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout design, development, integration and qualification phases; br / /liliLead system performance analyses and trade-off activities considering mass, power, data budgets, radiometric performance and operational constraints; br / /liliSupport Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV/AIT) activities and contribute to system performance validation and acceptance campaigns; br / /liliDevelop and maintain system engineering documentation, technical baselines and configuration control throughout the project lifecycle; br / /liliPrepare and lead major project reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and AR; br / /liliIdentify, assess and mitigate technical risks through structured risk management processes; br / /liliManage technical non-conformances and support Non-Conformance Review Boards (NRB),
ensuring proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions; br / /liliContribute to technical proposals and competitive bids in collaboration with engineering, program management and business development teams. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongYOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SYSTEM ENGINEER /strong /ppbr / /pulliProven experience in the development of space systems, optical payloads, instruments or complex aerospace systems; br / /liliExperience withrequirements management, allocation and traceability tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect or equivalent; br / /liliDemonstrated experience in system-to-payload integration and performance validation activities; br / /liliSolid understanding of AIV/AIT processes and verification and validation methodologies; br / /liliExperience in interface engineering across spacecraft, payload and ground segment domains; br / /liliStrong capability to coordinate technical stakeholders including customers, agencies, prime contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams; br / /liliKnowledge of ECSS engineering standards, including ECSS-E-ST-10, ECSS-Q and ECSS-M families; br / /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliStrong communication and technical leadership capabilities; br / /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE /strong /ppbr / /pulliMaster's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline; br / /liliAt least 5 years of experience in System Engineering within the Space sector; br / /liliFluent in Italian and English, written and spoken. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongADDITIONAL INFORMATION /strong /ppbr / /pulliLocation: Sarcedo, Vicenza (Italy); br / /liliWorking time: tempo pieno, hybrid as per the internal policy; br / /liliBenefit: company Gym; br / /liliAnnual Compensation for a senior system engineer: 45.000€ - 55.000€, based on the candidate's experience; br / /li /ulpbr / /ppWhile this position is intended for a more senior professional, we welcome applications from junior candidates with a strong educational background and the potential to develop into the role.
