This position is an Operational Procurement Specialist responsible for managing purchase orders, supplier relations, and project sourcing activities.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliProcess purchase orders and follow the expediting process /liliClarify issues with suppliers /liliCommunicate with suppliers regarding demand, volume and delivery times, reduction of transaction cost, etc.
/liliExecute purchasing processes following guiding principles from category management /liliSupport Finance with invoice verification /liliFollow processes, guidelines and procurement policies /liliEnsure cost, availability, innovation, and quality within the sourcing plan creation and execution /liliManage price lists /liliCoordinate, manage and control material shipments /liliManage suppliers to fulfill on?time delivery KPI /liliAnalyze and proactively use Materials Requirements Program (MRP) and other systems to determine raw materials/items needs for production/spare parts /liliImplement AI across procurement processes /liliFocus on new projects /liliWork closely with RD, Strategic Buyers, Operational Buyer and Quality Department /liliManage RFQs and award decisions in line with category strategy /liliExecute supplier selection along strategy, requirements, supplier base development,
and identification of new suppliers /liliMonitor and communicate planning of procurement activities related to projects /liliCommit to meeting project cost targets /liliBill of Material costing /liliResponsible for project sourcing activities /liliOperate sourcing to support production and/or service /liliRun scouting process in line with project target and according to Strategic Buyers strategies /liliProcess purchase requisitions, purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations (with expediting if needed) /liliClarify issues with requestors and suppliers /liliProvide feedback to Strategic buyer/Category manager when spotting requisitions going outside of suitable framework agreements /liliAct as first point of contact with vendors for daily operations /liliProcess invoices and manage master data /liliSupport solving invoice mismatches that could not be processed by Finance/Accenture /liliMaintain local raw material or vendor master data as needed /liliAct as first Procurement point of contact for stakeholders in project management, engineering, project planning, controlling and other project relevant roles /liliEnsure that qualitative and quantitative inputs from the Project team are captured in the different stages of the project /liliRequest sourcing support for the relevant scope of supply from Strategic Buyers and/or Category Managers (direct indirect) /liliBe early involved in project Sales phase discussions,
and recurrently involved in later phases /liliShare progress information from Procurement view (weekly project call, monthly steerCo, stage gate reviews...) /liliPartner with Logistics representative to support the project (e.g. Transport manager) to track risks, costs and lead times related to transport/import/export/receipt of goods /li /ulpKey knowledge area: Several competences from ERP system P2P processes, to sourcing, to project management.
/ph3Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in operational procurement roles /liliEssential ability to work in a team, even in a stressful environment /liliGood knowledge of ERP system (SAP preferred) /liliWork experience in complex organizations (welcome) /liliCost and data analysis /liliAI tools implementation (welcome) /liliExposure to manufacturing/service operations /liliFluent English and Italian /liliFinancial and Business understanding /liliAnalytical skills /liliAbility to work in a matrix organization /liliProblem solving skills /liliTakes ownership of the work, successes and failures /liliGood interpersonal and communication skills /liliMS Office good knowledge /liliKnowledge of shipping, customs clearance and logistic process (welcome) /liliAvailability to short business trip /li /ulh3Salary Benefits /h3pGross annual salary range: €30,000 – €38,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment.
