About This Opportunity
Are you interested in how mobile networks work and want to build your career in telecommunications? Join Ericsson as a 5G Core Network Engineer Intern and become part of a team responsible for the technologies behind modern mobile communications. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on real customer projects, supporting the integration, testing and deployment of 4G and 5G Core Network solutions. What You Will Do
Support the integration, configuration and validation of 4G/5G Core Network solutions.
Participate in network deployment, commissioning and service activation activities.
Collaborate with experienced engineers on customer projects and technology demonstrations.
Participate in technology trials and innovation activities related to next‑generation network solutions.
Investigate technical issues and contribute to troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Support testing activities to ensure solution quality, reliability and performance.
Use automation tools to improve testing, deployment and operational efficiency.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports and implementation guides.
Continuously expand your knowledge of 5G Core technologies,
network architectures and modern engineering practices.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Up to two years of professional experience.
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of networking, Linux, virtualization or scripting is an advantage.
Interest in automation, AI and emerging technologies.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Curiosity, initiative and a proactive mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and international environment.

Internship Conditions
We provide a monthly internship reimbursement of €1,000 and meal vouchers valued at €9. Please note that this is an office‑based role requiring your attendance at the office five days per week, allowing you to fully integrate with our team, collaborate directly with colleagues, and experience our dynamic work environment firsthand.
