ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Purpose
You will develop Consumer Tyres for European and MEA markets as part of an integrated project team, embracing a strong project management discipline and facing technical challenges in order to meet the future needs.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the technical development of tyres for delivery to consumer markets.
- Contributes to the process of benchmarking, designing prototypes, planning and analyzing of test results, preparing design review documentation.
- Contributes to define and manage the project schedule and GANTT.
- Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
- Provides his/her contribution to the preparation of Technical Meetings with the BSEMEA functions.
- Manages assigned tasks with high level of proficiency and autonomy.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education, Master, other certification:
University degree in engineering (mechanical, materials design, industrial engineering and equivalent)
Experience (years):
Previous experience in the tyre / automotive industries might be a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Very good MS Office packages and CAD systems, good CREO / PRO-E capabilities.
- Digital mind-set: Ability to develop and/or apply new digital tools/software to change business or processes.
- Statistic and simulation tools, basics of material characterization, basic knowledge of tyre construction are a nice to have.
Languages Skills:
Fluency in English.
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
- Teamworking.
- Project management.
- Problem solving.
- Learning skills and Change Agility.
Salary range: € 37601.10 - 46500
The salary range is based on gender-neutral criteria: applicable CCNL requirements, responsibilities, working conditions and market benchmarks for the role and location. Final compensation will be determined based on gender-neutral criteria: experience, skills, and internal equity.
