Edge, a Division of Eurosearch Consultants, on behalf of a multinational company, leading supplier of chemical solutions, operating in the personal care and cosmetic industries, is searching for a:
**REGIONAL APPLICATION TECHNOLOGY & COMPETENCE CENTRE MANAGER SKIN CARE** **Posizione**:
Reporting directly to the Global App. Technology Coordinator and hierarchically to the Managing Director Italy, the RATM will take responsibility for the South Europe Regional Lab (3 people) and the Competence Center Skin Care Worldwide for the production of ingredients and product lines. **Main skills and responsibilities**:
She/He
- Is responsible for lab personnel and lab safety;
- Supports the sales network (account managers/distributors) providing tech support/advice;
- Develops (team) customer project briefs and prepares prototype formulations and samples (promotion kit as well as prototype for exhibitions);
- Runs performance testing (on ingredients or finished formula); develops proprietary testing methods and/or coordinates them with the Competence Centres Labs;
- Defines lab set-up (human resources and equipment) and manages the lab budget;
- Together with Sales & Marketing, monitors and identifies trends, and develops a “regional” and/or “competence” centre proposition;
- Together with Sales & Marketing, defines priorities and resource allocation in accordance with the PC strategy;




- Coordinates solutions promotion at exhibitions i.e. tool kit;
- Drafts/co-drafts scientific/technical papers, speaks at technical conferences, contributes (Product Management+Marketing) to scientific communication in his/her area of competence;
- He/she, together with the Head of AT, is the R&D; interface for product development for the competence centre segment;
- Supports Mkt± in defining the product portfolio (competence centre);
In case of need, visits customer/distributors. **Requisiti**:
**Requirements**: - Degree in Chemistry; other scientific degree is acceptable in case of significant seniority;
- Excellent knowledge of skin care formulation, from emollients to emulsifiers;
- At least 5 years' experience in this position, with own-brand manufacturers, subcontractors or producers of raw materials;
- Excellent leadership skills and 5 years’ previous experience in personnel management;
- Fluency in English;
- Excellent organizational, personal and professional balance, social intelligence;
- Resourcefulness, motivation and propensity for problem-solving. **Altre informazioni**:
