Accounting & Reporting Specialist (Caponago, MB, Italy) 1. Mission and key priorities of the role Based in Caponago (Italy), the Accounting & Reporting Specialist is needed to reinforce the accounting, analytical and reporting skills of the Self-Adhesives Finance team in Italy (2 legal entities). 2. Your responsibilities include
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting data, with focus on AP/AR data quality and monthly accruals and provisions
- Run month-end close and reporting in the local ERPs (Navision + Alyante), as well as perform controlling activities to support month-end analysis and Group reporting
- Manage/support the upload and validation of financial data into the Fedrigoni reporting system (Tagetik)
- Perform cash flow analysis, working closely with the Treasury/Accounting/Credit Team
- Support functional transformation initiatives, including processes optimization, definition of common policies and procedures, alignment with Group policies and guidelines
- Establish and maintain an environment of internal control and integrity, while supporting the management of local Finance systems
- Deal with external parties,
such as tax consultants and payroll provider
- Support compliance audits, annual audits, and ad-hoc due diligence activities 3. Who are we looking for
- Degree in Accounting, MSc in Accounting/Finance or similar experience
- Approx. 3 years of experience in a major audit firm, supporting customers operating with an international footprint on a large scale
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Proficient in Excel and experienced user of accounting and financial systems
- Ability to work and deliver results under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Itralian and English
