Edge, Division of Eurosearch Consultants, on behalf of an important Italian company operating in the manufacturing of automotive components, is searching for a:
**COMMODITY MANAGER CASTING** **Posizione**:
Reporting directly to the Procurement & Supply Chain Director, the Commodity Manager Casting will take hieratically responsibility for a team (3 people) and functionally for all the local buyers, will be responsible for Global Sourcing Strategies for assigned commodities and will be responsible for:
**Main skills and responsibilities**: - Leading supplier selection and development activities to ensure an optimal supply base;
- Working closely with cross functional teams, provide advice and guidance in sourcing/buying related assignments, processes and strategies;
- Providing guidance on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affecting business organization;
- Managing claims and negotiations of contracts, terms and conditions;
- Coordinating Corporate Buyers;
- Coordinating worldwide Scouting activities;
- Developing local & corporate Human capital and Talents;
- Defining engagement Rules with local purchasing team;
- Being the Key Account Manager for corporate suppliers;
- Supervising Contracts for corporate suppliers and local Contract development;




- Developing Break-Down Costs analysis together with Strategic Purchasing Manager;
- Presenting Global purchasing dpt Results as sum of local ones;
- Managing in partnership with the Purchasing Manager system data and figures for his/her commodity;
- Managing corporate suppliers and supporting local ones in terms of premio, raw material variation, ect;
**Requisiti**:
**Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Engineering, Business Management);
- At least 10 years' experience and above in procurement & sourcing of technical commodities, preferred in a manufacturing environment;
- Full knowledge of foundry processes;
- Leadership skills and previous experience in personnel management or project management;
- English fluent, other language is a plus;
- Cost analysis and methodic approach;
- Analytical thinking and an innovation mindset with problem-solving aptitude;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. **Altre informazioni**:
