Junior Buyer Intern

EFI is looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Inkjet Solutions Business Unit located in Comun Recente, Bergamo Area, Italy. In this role you will be focused on cost reduction activities related to direct and indirect purchasing with the primary aim of reducing COGS. **Main Responsabilities**: - Obtain verbal and written price quotes from vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders using SAP for the purchase of goods and services.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround time, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively with other departments to complete the purchasing requisition from order through receiving goods or services.
- Process Engineering changes for purchased components.




- Conduct all business within company policies and procedures including appropriate approvals.
- Focus on cost down purchasing initiatives through co-design activities working closely with technical departments, manufacturing, and suppliers.
- Negotiation with suppliers regarding price and delivery commitments.
- Maintain professional business relationships with suppliers. **Job Requirements**: - Good English knowledge.
- Experience within mechanical/electrical commodities.
- Self directed and motivated.
- Minimum experience in purchasing department.
- Working knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
