For our company **Progetti Srl **in **Milan** (MI), we are looking for a **Business Analyst** who will be responsible for the following activities:
Responsabilities
- Use, develop and maintain best practice financial models and analysis tools to evaluate new and existing projects, undertake project finance analysis and sensitive analysis
- Assist Project Managers with business case development for new projects, providing investment analysis and clear recommendations and support on the preparation of Board and Investment Committee documentation
- Assist with M&A; activities, including but not limited to preparing bid models, undertaking due diligence, managing external advisers, managing data rooms and Q&A;, and preparing investment documentation
- Work within a team to successfully execute Project Finance transactions and assist with modelling, optimization, and reporting on debt covenants and metrics
- Support with the financial tracking of projects against budget,
liaising and reporting to PMs and the management team on a regular basis (i.e. liquidity, KPIs)
- Coordinate with other departments and centralized services of Analysts, Project Financing, Corporate Finance and PPA to consolidate the inputs for the project valuations, securing traceability **Profile**: - Relevant degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or Business Administration
- At least 2 years post-graduate experience of business modelling and valuation techniques at a Big Four accountancy firm, financial advisory company, investment bank, fund manager or in-house corporate finance team
- Highly analytical thinker with a structured logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Ability to translate analysis into practical and implementable recommendations
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage a range of priorities and stakeholders with tight deadlines
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ideally good understanding of energy markets and experience in energy industry Soft skills
