Global Category Manager **Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support Procurement department activities. Each day, you will lead/support process improvement teams. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and communicating periodic trend and performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The work model for the role is: #hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in Vittuone. You will be mainly accountable for: - Supporting the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the global Category leader. - Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew pricelists, terms and conditions.
- Running benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives. - Creating local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts. - Supporting regional/global sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies. - On-boarding new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and run regular supplier evaluations and provide supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers. - Fostering communication internally, externally, and between different Divisions, Business Units and Functions and support the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication. - Possess an enhanced knowledge of Office suite, Teams and PowerBI.
- Degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering, Economy, STEM.
