Just a short walk away from Piazza San Marco, Aman Venice offers the perfect place from which to explore this romantic city, and to discover the hidden gems of the city while floating away on a traditional gondola. **THE POSITION** The overall scope of the F&B; Host/Hostess intern is to assist the F&B; department and its staff in day-to-day operations in the different outlets, obtaining a relevant knowledge of the specific department. **MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Report to duty punctually wearing the correct uniform, clean and well pressed




- Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times
- Provide a courteous, professional and efficient service at the restaurant and at both bars, including, but not limited to: serving any requested food or beverage item, cleaning tables and perform the correct set up of all mise-en-place and side stations, fulfilling all instructions given by supervisors
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the F&B; department
- Draft and print menus
- Draft and print leaflets and handouts for events/banquets
- handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints and feedback to supervisors
- Day-to-day operational and administrative work **QUALIFICATIONS**
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work in a dynamic team
- Master or Bachelor Degrees in F&B; related areas
