Abion is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our growing team as an Associate in Rome, Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic group of professionals, providing exceptional support to a diverse range of clients in the ever-evolving field of intellectual property law. **Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in the management of global IP portfolios
- Conducting trademark clearance searches and providing opinions
- Managing and prosecuting trademarks at the EUIPO and instructing overseas lawyers
- Assisting with non-contentious trademark disputes
- Drafting co-existence and settlement agreements
- Monitor and update internal and external IP deadlines
- Contribute to improving workflows and processes with Team Leader **Qualifications & Skills**
- Law degree (preferably specializing in IP)
- 1-2 years of professional experience in IP (including IP portfolio management) is a plus
- Excellent English knowledge (additional language skills are a plus)
- Highly proficient in tech skills (such as word processing, spreadsheet and data management programs)
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong deadline management skills
