**ROLE SUMMARY**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that reflects the St. Louis School Mission, Values and Positive Behaviour Policy.
- Design and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum, tailored to the needs of young learners.
- Support the social,
emotional and academic growth of each student through differentiated instruction and positive reinforcement.
- Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and specialist staff to ensure cohesive, high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Actively engage in professional learning and contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives.
- Participate in assemblies, trips and extra-curricular activities that enhance the student experience and strengthen community connections.
- **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
Proven experience teaching Lower Primary (Years 1-3).
- A nurturing, patient and creative approach to learning.
- Strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development.
- Commitment to inclusive, personalised learning for all students.
- Collaborative, adaptable and eager to contribute to an international school environment.
RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- An EU passport or a valid visa to work in Italy would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred.
