Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Human Resources (HR) Generalist
to support our automotive engineering operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, supporting recruitment efforts, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing or engineering environments and excels at building strong relationships with employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, performance management, and offboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and coordinate the recruitment process.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and HR policies.
Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations,
and recommending appropriate resolutions.
Coordinate employee training, development, and compliance programs.
Assist with performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and workforce scheduling in collaboration with department managers.
Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, labor laws, and company safety policies.
Support compensation and salary review processes.
Organize employee engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
6–8 years of HR experience, preferably in an automotive, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent).
Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical teams.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or automotive industry standards.
