Service Order Handler internship (project management team)

The opportunity
We are looking for an intern to support Service Project Managers in ensuring efficient and accurate execution of customer orders from entry to delivery, acting as a key interface between Sales, Operations, and Customers.

How You'll Make An Impact
Order Management

Create, review, and manage customer orders in SAP

Validate commercial terms (price, Incoterms, payment terms, delivery dates)

Ensure completeness and accuracy of order data

Order Execution & Monitoring

Track order progress from booking to invoicing and delivery

Coordinate with supply chain, production, and logistics for timely execution

Proactively communicate bottlenecks (availability, delays, discrepancies)

Customer & Stakeholder Interaction

Act in collaboration with Project Manager for customers on order-related topics

Support Sales with order status, backlog, and delivery commitments

Collaborate with Finance on billing, credit checks, and disputes

Documentation & Compliance

Ensure correct documentation (order confirmations, shipping docs, invoices)

Maintain compliance with internal controls (SOX) and company policies

Support audits with required documentation and traceability

Reporting & Data Quality

Monitor order backlog, delivery performance, and KPIs

Maintain high data quality standards in systems

Technical

SAP (order entry, delivery, billing)

Strong Excel; Power BI is a plus

The minimum salary for this internship in the location specified is as follows:

Starting from: 800 € gross

The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
