/p h3YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT /h3 pThe ideal candidate will manage the entire product development lifecycle for the Leather Goods category.
They will serve as a strategic and operational bridge between the Design Team, Merchandising, and technical departments (Pattern Making, Prototyping, Materials Research, Costing, Engineering, and Industrialization).
The main objective is to ensure that the product meets creative and commercial expectations, respecting the seasonal calendar while continuously improving product quality.
/p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 h3Product Development Technical Coordination /h3 ulliInterpret sketches and creative inputs from the Design Office /liliCollaborate with pattern makers to translate ideas into clear technical information /liliOversee prototyping and sample creation with the internal atelier /liliManage external suppliers for sample production within deadlines /liliCollect technical feedback on prototypes to optimize subsequent phases /li /ul h3Data PLM Management /h3 ulliEnter technical data into the PLM system to track collection progress /liliCompile technical sheets for prototypes and samples /liliDefine technical combinations and material pairings in the system /liliVerify Bills of Materials (BOM)
for samples to ensure cost accuracy /li /ul h3Planning Monitoring /h3 ulliEnsure adherence to the development calendar deadlines /liliMonitor the availability and arrival of required materials with the Research team /liliPrepare product reviews in advance to gather improvement points /liliAct as the key point of contact for Design, Marketing, and Operations /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pMinimum 6 years of experience in product development, specifically within the Luxury Leather Goods sector.
Excellent command of English (mandatory); knowledge of French is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Centric PLM and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Ability to adapt language when dealing with creative teams versus technical artisans.
Proactive mindset to quickly resolve technical issues or supply delays during prototyping.
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks under strict fashion calendar deadlines.
Resilience and stress tolerance and flexibility to manage last-minute design changes and revisions.
Natural capacity to foster trust and long-term collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
