ph3Job Description /h3 pTOMRA is seeking a bField Service Engineer /b to join our team in Italy, bcovering the Rome–Naples region /b.
bCandidates need to be based within this territory to ensure efficient customer support.
/b As a key member, you will be responsible for providing support to our customers in Italy and East Europe.
This role is ideal for those with an adventurous spirit, as there will be lots of travel, mainly domestic across Italy and occasional trips abroad.
/p pYou will receive all the necessary training at our training center in Germany, as well as practical experience in the field with the support of your experienced colleagues.
/p pbYour tasks /b /p ul liInstallation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases.
/li liEnsuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field.
/li liDelivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support.
/li liOptimizing the sorting systems/process by sampling and testing.
/li liIdentifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.
/li liActing as a link between our customers and Headquarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers.
/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liCompleted secondary technical school (FP2) or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
/li liWillingness to travel 80% or more.
/li liWork experience in an industrial environment with a focus on on-site preventive and curative maintenance would be a big plus.
/li liIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.




/li liProficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, network structures.
/li liA certain talent for communication when dealing with people – in our case, these are customers.
/li liNative in Italian and proficient in English.
/li liFull clean driving license required.
/li liKnowledge of the metal scrap business and recycling processes is a plus.
