We're looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to join a cutting-edge technology team in the Netherlands.
You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting mechatronic and electronic equipment failures, performing root cause analyses (RCA), and creating technical reports that drive real product improvement.
Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and product failures - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on electronic, electrical, and mechatronic systems - Document findings in clear, detailed technical reports - Partner with quality, product, and manufacturing teams to implement corrective and preventive actions - Support both internal manufacturing and external clients with containment measures and reliability improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic issues and prevent recurrence Requirements - Bachelor's degree (BSc/BEng)
in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field - 2+ Years of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems - Background in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, or complex automation systems - Strong analytical skills and ability to write structured, technical reports - Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) - Proactive mindset, high sense of responsibility, and ownership of problems from start to finish We Offer - 1-2 year contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment.
- Monthly gross salary: €3,500 - €5,000 (based on experience and education).
- 25 paid vacation days + paid public holidays.
- Holiday allowance of 8.33%, paid annually in May.
- Travel reimbursement: €0.23/km.
- Relocation support: - First housing arranged and upfront payment of rent/deposit if needed - €1,500 - €3,000 net relocation premio - Pick-up on arrival and onboarding support (bank, BSN, insurance, etc.) - Work permit and visa assistance (if applicable).
