Description Overview
The E-Commerce Conversion & Digital Shelf Specialist plays a key role in optimizing online product visibility, content quality, and conversion performance across Amazon,other marketplace platforms and online players.
The candidate supports the enhancement of the entire shopper journey—from product discovery and search visibility to purchase conversion—through data analysis, digital shelf optimization, marketplace best practices, and emerging AI-powered solutions.
He/she combines strong analytical skills with hands-on ecommerce experience, leveraging data and insights to improve product performance, drive conversion, and support sustainable business growth.
Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Retail Media teams, the Specialist contributes to the delivery of best-in-class product content and an outstanding online shopping experience
Scope of the Role
Digital Shelf Optimization
Monitor and analyze digital shelf performance using Profitero or similar tools.
Action on key metrics including: Share of Search Content Quality Scores Competitive Benchmarking Pricing and Visibility Performance Identify opportunities to improve product discoverability and conversion.
Product Content Excellence
Support the optimization of Product Detail Pages (PDPs) across Amazon, other marketplaces and online players.
Improve: Product titles Bullet points Product descriptions Images and A+ Content Implement keyword strategies to increase visibility and organic ranking.
Conduct regular content audits and recommend improvements.
Conversion Optimization
Analyze shopper behavior and performance data throughout the ecommerce funnel.
Monitor: Organic visibility Traffic performance Click-through rates Conversion rates Support testing and optimization initiatives aimed at increasing sales performance.
AI-Driven Content Enhancement
Leverage AI tools to improve content quality and productivity.
Optimize content for AI-powered search and discovery environments.
Stay informed on emerging trends in AI, ecommerce, and digital shelf management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Strongly partnering with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Category teams to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with Retail Media - to support campaign effectiveness through high-quality PDP content.
Reporting & Insights
Prepare performance reports and dashboards.
Translate data into actionable recommendations.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives based on performance insights.
KPI
Conversion Rate (CVR)
Share of Search Organic Visibility Digital Shelf Content Score Sales Growth on Priority SKUs Content Compliance and Completeness Contribution to Revenue Growth and Media Efficiency Experience Required
Minimum 4 years of experience in ecommerce / marketplace environments
Fluent English Strong experience with Amazon ecosystem (Vendor or Seller) Data-driven mindset with mandatory experience in tools such as Profitero (preferred) or equivalent Solid knowledge of: marketplace SEO ranking algorithms conversion optimization Experience or strong interest in: AI / Generative AI applied to ecommerce content optimization for LLMs and AI-driven discovery systems use of AI tools for content generation, testing, and performance improvement Benefits
