We're building new functionality that simplifies how advertisers set up campaigns, in a policy and regulatory compliant way.
You'll own the end-to-end customer experience, contributing to product direction while building the APIs, services, data models, and user interfaces that bring it to life.
Your systems will meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability, and will operate at massive scale, 24x7.
/p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liYou will work as part of an Agile team at our development centre in Edinburgh, Scotland, launching and growing new initiatives for Amazon's global websites.
/li liYour team will own the business, technology and operations, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success.
/li liYou will be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to software development across a variety of technologies.
/li liYour systems will meet remarkably high standards of performance and reliability, and will operate at massive scale, 24x7.
/li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems /li liExperience in professional,
non-internship software development /li liExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent /li liExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
