As a Strategic Project Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies, and services in line with company policies and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing, optimal delivery terms, and strong supplier relationships, while supporting operational continuity and cost efficiency across the business.
About the Job
Purchase materials, parts, supplies, and services in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures.
Analyse supplier quotations and lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, delivery, and commercial terms.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier reviews and pricing analysis.
Manage pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm delivery schedules.
Execute purchasing activities accurately and efficiently to support business requirements.
About You
3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in large multinational companies; automotive industry experience is considered a strong plus.
Background in production companies is mandatory, ideally with exposure to R&D-related; activities.
Project Management experience is a plus.
SAP knowledge is considered an advantage.
Fluency in Italian is mandatory; good command of English is required for daily communication.
