Job Description Summary

Cambridge Associates is growing in Europe and recently opened its 14th office in Milan, Italy. As we build our local investment team, we are looking for an Investment Analyst to join the Milan office and support our client coverage in Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team and contribute to our work with clients in a dynamic market.

Information about the Investment Analyst

The Investment Analyst (IA) collaborates with Investment Directors to provide investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to our clients. The position involves quantitative analysis, as well as a qualitative component as the IA works to assess market conditions and relay investment recommendations to clients in written reports. In this role, the IA will gain broad exposure to asset classes and investment strategies,



while being exposed to clients and deepening their investment knowledge.

Position Specifics

Location of Position: Milan, Italy Office Requirement: Investment Analyst is required to be in office 12-16 days per month You will be eligible to participate in firm’s Annual Performance Premio program

Responsibilities

- Work as part of an investment team alongside Investment Directors and co-IA to assess investment managers’ portfolios and support client requests and questions.
- Focus will be on marketable portfolio, inclusive of public markets, hedge funds, and FX.
- Direct responsibility for, and interaction with, clients serviced by team
- Prepare exhibits and other presentation documentation

Qualifications

- Masters of Science (in a financial major), or Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years relevant experience and/or relevant industry qualifications (e.g. CFA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and prioritization, and an ability to operate effectively in a team environment
- Native-level fluency in Italian, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated interest in investments and the capital markets with eagerness to learn
- Proficient with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Python and with integrating AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) into workflows, including programmatically (e.g., via API calls), along with an interest in automation and process improvement
- Must be eligible to work in Italy without sponsorship or restriction now or in the future
