ppNIDEC Conversion is hiring a/an automation junior engineer for Genova site.
/p h3SUMMARY OF ROLE /h3 pSupports the design, implementation, testing and commissioning of PLC and SCADA/operator interface software for industrial automation solutions, primarily in steel plant automation and port quay electrification (cold ironing).
/p pWorks under the supervision of experienced automation engineers, contributing to development, testing and commissioning activities while progressively building technical competence and project autonomy.
/p h3PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pUnder guidance of senior engineers: /p ul liSupport analysis of project specifications and functional requirements.
/li liParticipate in development and configuration of PLC and SCADA software.
/li liSupport preparation of validation procedures, reports and technical documentation.
/li liParticipate in integration of software with automation hardware and industrial communication networks.
/li liParticipate in testing, debugging and validation activities.
/li liParticipate in commissioning activities /li /ul h3TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS /h3 h3Areas Frequency /h3 pItaly and abroadFrequency not fixed; /p h3REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and LANGUAGES /h3 h3Education and Qualifications /h3 pTechnical high school diploma in Information Technology or Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Industrial Automation considered an advantage.
/p h3Experience /h3 p0-3 years, including internships, apprenticeships or university projects /p h3Languages /h3 ul liItalian: C1 / C2 – Full professional proficiency (spoken and written) /li liEnglish: B2 – Professional working proficiency (spoken and written) /li /ul h3CORE COMPETENCIES /h3 h3Required knowledge includes:
/h3 ul liBasic knowledge of PLCs preferably Siemens platforms /li liBasic knowledge of SCADA systems (WinCC, InTouch, Zenon or equivalent).
/li liFundamentals of industrial communication networks.
/li liBasic understanding of electrical systems, sensors, actuators, motors and drives.
/li liBasic ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
