Experteer Overview
As Senior Property Underwriter, you will underwrite complex risks with a tailor‑made approach, writing new and renewal business to support profitable growth. You will build high-quality broker and client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to align with the business plan. You’ll balance risk, cost, and profitability while guiding risk management for insureds. This role offers impact through shaping underwriting standards and contributing to AXA XL’s client‑centric, data‑driven risk solutions in a supportive, inclusive culture.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Review submissions (applications, policy wordings, inspection reports, loss runs, financials) to assess risk levels
- Calculate risk premiums considering sector risk costs, reinsurance cessions, and underwriting/administration costs to maintain profitability
- Advise, service, and follow up with clients on insurance and risk management needs
- Manage relationships to enable cross‑selling and account retention
- Ensure timely implementation of new and renewed accounts to quality standards
- Support business planning and forecasting; monitor financial exposure and premium income within limits
- Maintain awareness of claims and provide input on settlements
- Collaborate with internal functions to deliver top client service
Responsabilità
- Advanced experience in the Property Insurance industry
- Excellent written and spoken English and Italian
