System / Software Validation Engineer We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities:
- Years of experience: 3 to 5 years
- Technical expertise: requirements analysis, test case creation, test execution and reporting. Excellent knowledge in HW design and debugging, SW coding and debugging. Deep knowledge in analog and digital electronics. Knowledge required in Digital electronics (8, 16, 32 bit MCU, I2C, LIN, CAN bus). Programming language CAPL and Python. Tools: Vector suite applications, DOORS, Vector HIL VT System,
Signal generator, Programmable Power supply, Oscilloscope.
- Define SYS/SW Test Plan, testing strategy, test verdict criteria, defect management, regression testing strategy.
- Maintain bilateral traceability between the test cases listed in the SYS/SW Test Specification and the requirements listed in the SYS/SW Requirement Specification.
- Implement the test cases in the Test Bench based on Vector HIL System.
- Perform the test loops and communicate with the development team in case of deviations or defects.
- Perform a preliminary analysis on the defects to identify the root cause and propose a possible solution.
- Report all the testing results in DOORS.
- Maintain and improve the test bench based on Vector and EXAM.
